3 day gorilla habituation safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This 3 day gorilla habituation safari is one of the activities that were innovated to give tourist an exceptional knowledge about the lives of the gorillas. It should be noted that half of the world’s mountain gorillas reside in Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Most of these gorillas are wild and are very dangerous to encounter because they are not used to humans. During the gorilla habituation process, researchers work hard to ensure that the wild gorillas get used to humans and this process is what they call the habituation process. It is beneficial for the wild gorillas to be habituated because whenever that happens, there is an additional of a gorilla family group which can be trekked by humans hence an increase in the tourism prospects of Uganda. Another advantage is that the habituated gorillas are easy to receive medication which ensures their well-being. Expect the best safari as you shall spend more time with the gorillas than during the normal gorilla trekking experience.
