7 Days Wildlife and Gorilla Safari in Uganda
We named this safari Uganda’s full package safari because during this safari, you shall witness all the popular attractions and experiences in Uganda-we are going to uncover Uganda’s hidden tourism secrets and by the end of the tour, you shall agree with Sir Winston Churchill remark that “Uganda is the pearl of Africa”. This tour is going to take you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking, the magical lake Bunyonyi for boat cruise and a visit to the punishment island, Queen Elizabeth national park for game drive and a boat cruise, and Kibale national park for chimpanzee trekking.
Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The tour can either begin at Entebbe international airport, Uganda’s international airport or Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. You shall meet and greet with our professional tour guide and later proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. By road, you shall take 9 hours from Kampala to Bwindi. These hours move so fast and you won’t feel fatigued. Our safari cars provide comfort and en-route attractions that you shall observe will make you forget about the journey and simply enjoy the attractions. You shall have a stopover at the Equator to take some snacks and photographs. Later, you shall pass by rolling hills, picturesque landscape and wonderful savannah grasslands. On arrival, you shall check in your lodge where you shall be served with dinner. Relax and spend the night at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Uganda
After having paid $600 or $450 for gorilla permits depending on the season of travel, it will be time to see your return on investment. Early in the morning after breakfast, the tour guide shall drive you to the park headquarters for checkup and briefing. You shall be briefed about what to expect, how to behave and other dos and don’ts. Later, you shall start trekking this dense forest with the help of the park ranger to locate the gorillas. The gorillas are traced by the signs they leave behind. There are so many signs which can give a clue about their whereabouts however these signs are best interpreted by the park rangers. After hours of search, normally between 1-8 hours, you shall able to spot the gentle gorilla group. The gorilla habituated groups are used to humans and therefore they don’t fear carrying out their normal lives in the presence of humans. Depending, you shall observe mothers feeding young ones, the juvenile playing and the silverback showing command. You are only allowed to stay with the gorillas for a period of 1 hour. Later, transfer back to the park headquarters. Later, you shall transfer to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. You shall check-in around the nearby lodges for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is one of the deepest lakes in Africa. It is magnificently composed of 29 islands all dotted around the lake. One of the notable islands is the punishment island which is widely known because unmarried pregnant women were sailed to the island and left alone to die. There are so many activities to do around Lake Bunyonyi however you shall do canoeing along the fresh waters of the lake, visit the punishment island, and swim if time allows. You will do all these activities throughout the day. Later, you shall transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi – Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth national park is the most visited national park in Uganda. Visiting the park and doing a game drive and boat cruise shall surely add value to the trip. Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En-route, you shall witness several animal species and sometimes, you may be forced to stop along the way to enjoy the en-route game experience. Later, you shall check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
One of the reasons why people flock Queen Elizabeth national park is to do a game drive and boat cruise. Of course other activities like chimpanzee trekking at the Kyambura gorge are possible however the most prevalent is game drive and boat cruise. Early in the morning, you shall be picked by the tour guide and be transferred to the park for a morning game drive. The Kasenyi trail offers great opportunities to spot various wildlife; Elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes and others. You shall return to the lodge for lunch and later go for a boat cruise along the kazinga channel which shall offer you the opportunity to view various endemic water birds and aquatic animals. You shall come close to these animals. Crocodiles, hippopotamus, and others are clearly seen. Later, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall transfer to kibale national park. You shall pass via fort portal. On arrival, you shall check in at your lodge and continue with a simple nature walk along the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Here, you shall spot various bird species which are endemic to the region. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and transferring back to Kampala/Entebbe
Early in the morning, you shall move to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Verify that you have a chimpanzee permit as it might be impossible to do chimpanzee trekking without a permit. After briefing, you shall move into the scenic rainforest in search of chimpanzees. And being accompanied by the tour ranger, it shall be easy to spot the chimpanzee because park rangers know how to interpret all the chimpanzee traces. Once you spot the chimpanzees, you shall stay with them for a period of 1 hour. Later, you will go back to the lodge, freshen up and start your journey back to Kampala. You shall reach Kampala in the evening. This shall mark the end of your tour.
