3 Day South Luangwa National Park safari in Zambia

This carefully crafted itinerary starts and ends in Lusaka. Our tour guide shall be able to pick you from your agreed point of pickup. Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guides shall come and pick you up from Lusaka to South Luangwa National park. The distance from Lusaka to South Luangwa National park is about 584km. you shall travel for over 7 hours to reach South Luangwa National park. The best part of this simple and yet insightful journey is to make several stopovers- you shall stop over at Luangwa Bridge Market and the tribal textile. Upon arrival in the park, you shall drive to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight. This trip is available throughout the year however the best time to visit is around July to October.

This day is the epitome of the safari. You shall do a full day game drive. You shall drive early in the morning to the park for a morning game drive which shall offer you the opportunity to view most of the wildlife experiences common in the morning hours. Later, you shall drive back to the lodge for breakfast. You will relax a bit for about 15 minutes and later drive back to the park for a mid-afternoon game drive. South Luangwa national park is blessed with several species of wildlife and these include zebras which are always seen in herds, antelopes-the park hosts over 14 species of antelopes; hippos-hippos can be seen in counts of 30-70 within the river system. The kudus, hartebeest, klipspringer, Oribi, roan, reedbuck, and others; lunch is normally served in lunch boxes and you shall later continue on for an afternoon game drive. Moving close to the River Luangwa shall offer you some of the best experiences as animals prefer to gather around the river banks to sip some water. You will transfer back the lodge after a wonderful game drive experience.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall wake up, take breakfast and drive to the park for to look out for some of the common species of wildlife which they missed out due to several reasons. Later, you come back to the lodge, relax and later drive back to Lusaka to mark the end of this amazing 3 day South Luangwa national park safari.
